Thomas T. Befort, Ltd. (formerly Henges & Befort, Ltd.) was established in October, 1970 by founding partner Lynn R. Henges who had previously worked for Price Waterhouse for 13 years. In September 1971, he hired Thomas T. Befort (a Kansas native) who later became a partner in 1978. Tom Befort had his starting professional experience at a large accounting firm, Elmer Fox & Company, before moving to Phoenix. Because of the lack of personal contact with their clients, they established Henges & Befort Ltd,. to provide personal service with the highest quality product possible.

Mr. Befort has more than 48 years experience in public accounting. During this time he has helped numerous small businesses grow and flourish. His areas of expertise include construction, personal service corporations and other closely held businesses. He is licensed to practice in Arizona. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Befort has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas.
